Each year we partner with the American Red Cross to show our troops how much we care through a campaign called Holiday Cards for Heroes. Our goal is to share messages of thanks, season’s greetings, and holiday cheer to members of our Armed Forces. 

All cards will be located at The Kiesling Agency (26745 Hwy 380, Suite 108, Aubrey, Tx 76227) for your convenience. If you would like us to complete a card on your behalf, please email us at 380rotary@gmail.com.

Join us Friday morning at 7:30A where we hear from this dynamic Rotarian, Brittney Woodrum as she shares with us her adventurous journey to raise awareness and funds for Shelter Box!

Brittney "Bert" Woodrum has made it her mission to summit all 58 of Colorado's 'Fourteener' mountains with the iconic ShelterBox on her back to raise funds for ShelterBox! She began her challenge by hiking her first peak in July, and she is now reaching the last of her 58 peaks.

We are proud to have fellow club member, Jessica Dunn present to us Friday morning on Leukemia Texas!

Leukemia Texas is an independent nonprofit corporation dedicated to fighting the life-threatening blood cancer of leukemia through the funding of leukemia research and patient aid in Texas.

Through its Patient Aid program, Leukemia Texas provides financial assistance to leukemia patients needing help with their necessary treatment expenses. This program currently serves hundreds of children and adults each year. The Leukemia Texas Research program awards grants for research to develop new and improved methods of treathment and which may ultimately lead to a cure for leukemia.

Denton County Friends of Family’s mission has been imprinted on Kelly’s heart from a very young age when she would create care packages with her grandmother for women and children entering the shelter. 

Kelly is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive services to those impacted by rape, sexual abuse, and domestic violence, while partnering with our community to promote safety, hope, healing, justice, and prevention (the DCFOF mission). 

Captain Jeff Davis is a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in Desert Storm/Shield, and has prior law enforcement experience with the Denton Police Department from 1997-2005. Captain Jeff Davis currently oversees the Special Operations Division, which encompasses the Drug Enforcement, Criminal Interdiction, K-9, Warrants, and Civil Unit. Captain Davis is the Commander for Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) and the Crisis and Hostage Negotiation Team. Captain Davis is the NARCAN Program Coordinator and a member of the Denton County Drug Court Team.

Captain Jeff Davis is a Special Federal Officer (Northern Drug Squad) with the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), Task Force Officer (Bulk Currency Initiative) with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and Special Deputy U.S. Marshal with the United States Marshal's (USMS). Captain Davis is an original founding member of the North Texas High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Group (HIDTA) and is deemed an expert witness in Narcotics Smuggling, Storage, and Distribution Techniques.

Captain Davis was awarded the Denton Police Officer of the Year in 2001. He received the National VFW Narcotics Officer of the Year in 2003 and the FBI Golden Eagle Award in 2003. Captain Davis received the Cooperative Effort Award (ONDCP) in 2003 from the Office of the President of the United States (George W. Bush).
